Great cinema, worth getting the Infinity card if you're a regular movie-goer. I only wish they'd show a few more different films, seems to be mainly the big commercial releases and the ones that aren't big-hitters don't get an airing. I'd be there far more often if they had a few more of thos interesting independent films, even if it was just one showing on a Sunday. Food and drinks are of course pricey, but it's a cinema! Great little bar with nice coffee, good events alongside the movies every so often.
Came along to see new Pokemon movie had Pokemon colouring activities for kids before movie and we got special edition Pokemon cards. My little Pokemon fan loved it said it was a really good film. I always find the light clean friendly and more affordable than other local cinemas thoroughly recommend

A rather modern and stylish venue with a bar and various auditoriums a couple of minutes outside the main center of Cambridge It’s conveniently located on/next to Cambridge Leisure Park which has supermarkets and various places to eat inc a 5 Guys. A good mix for a great night out.
Good venue up close n personal to the band , loads of places to eat on the square outside the venue plus a very nicely priced multi storey just behind , beware it has right ramps only just got round in my van

I have been to many of the shows in Homerton and all were extremely enjoyable (or thought provoking depending on the content) and well thought out with respect to the plot, acting and unique staging ideas which I have never seen in any other theatre before.

My son and daughter started Theatretrain Cambridge East over 8 years ago. They have loved every minute of it and while my son left a few years ago when he turned 18, my daughter (16) still attends and wants to keep going till she turns 18. The sessions are 3 hours on a Saturday, every week during term time, and at £80 per term, its great value for money. Ruth McKechnie, the centre manager has a great deal of experience and is a true professional, and has a great rapport with the kids. The drama, dance and singing coaches likewise share their passion, caring and knowledge with the kids, and this becomes evident in the way the kids show their preparedness and a genuine love for performing. The London shows include several centres and are always a great experience and opportunity to make even more friends. The local shows (on alternate years) are even more enjoyable as parents as the children get to showcase their talent in a more intimate setting (usually somewhere like the Mumford theatre in Cambridge or The Maltings in Ely). From being at the larger London shows, I have always been impressed that the children from this centre in particular is always one of the best prepared, if not the best, and they always put on a really good show and in a very professional manner. My children have made great friendships over the years and gained so much in terms of confidence, charisma and just being comfortable in any environment. The discipline of weekly attendance and participation (especially in the run up to a show) I feel are a good preparation for future challenges. I happily recommend them especially if your child is somewhat shy or lacking in confidence to start, as they will really enjoy themselves and slowly but surely grow in confidence.
My daughter has been going to Theatretrain for 4 years now. She loves it and has had the opportunity to perform at London shows and Disneyland Paris. Thoroughly recommended.
